Speaker: Pastor Greg Wasser
Growing up in a thoroughly Christian home, I was led to the Lord by my mom, who explained the plan of salvation to me at the age of 7, using John 3:16. I graduated from Clearwater Christian College in 1980 with a B.S. in Biblical Literature, then got my M. Div. from Calvary Baptist Seminary in 1986. My first pastorate was at Grace Independent Baptist Church in New Berlinville, PA, where I ministered for 17 1/2 years; I am currently the pastor of Open Bible Baptist Church in Reading, PA, where I came on staff first as the associate pastor in 2013. My wife Nancy and I have three married adult children and seven grandchildren. I enjoy hiking, biking, bikepacking, and kayaking; I am also in the process of finishing up a devotional biography on Philip P. Bliss.
Speaker: Pastor Josh Scheiderer
Josh graduated from Bob Jones University with a bachelor’s degree in Bible, a master’s in Theology and a Master’s of Divinity from Heart of America Theological Seminary. He has served in ministry leadership positions for nearly 25 years. He enjoys watching sports, whether it’s his children playing for their school or his favorite football teams (Eagles on Sundays and the Buckeyes on Saturdays). Whether on camp, church or Christian school staff, he desires for people to see, follow and love Jesus more because they’ve spent time together. Josh and his wife, Christy, have been married since 1999 and have five children— Haywood, Tori, Eden, Liv and Addy —and three dogs. Christy is an entrepreneur, successfully balancing home life and small business start-ups. Their family loves to spend time together and be outdoors as much as time allows!
